WHAT IS SUSTAINABLE FASHION?

Our founder Lorenzo gives us an example of how he supports sustainable fashion in his everyday wardrobe. Sustainable fashion refers to clothing that is designed, manufactured, distributed, and used in ways that are environmentally friendly. Ethical fashion, a related term that is also prevalent in the conscious consumerism world, refers to clothing made in ways that value social welfare and worker rights.

Examples of how to support our planet through sustainable fashion...........

WHAT IS SUSTAINABLE FASHION??

Sustainable fashion is a term describing products, processes, activities, and actors aiming to achieve a carbon-neutral fashion industry, built on equality, social justice, animal welfare, and ecological integrity. Sustainable fashion concerns more than addressing fashion textiles or products

Upcycled Fashion

upcycling means to transform clothes, accessories, and textile waste into new products. Upcycled items could be post-consumer waste (items that have been purchased, worn, and discarded) or deadstock (items that did not sell).

THRIFT SHOPPING

Thrift shopping is an overlooked way of practicing sustainability. This type of shopping reduces energy consumption, air pollution, mountains of landfill, and keeps our oceans cleaner. There are endless fashion possibilities with thrift shopping, but it is also another way to take care of Mother Earth
